Cool project!
ALDI 083 Six Corners in Chicago.
This is the high profile ALDI Chicago store that Flō has been working on. It’s unique in that it is a different and bigger footprint than other ALDI stores.
This store has our Chicago two-unit ERV design specific to ALDI, and includes:
- 1 x 25 ton Multi-Path ERV with CO2 Heat reclaim
- 1 x 3 ton standard package ERV for the admin area
This is the same equipment we’ve supplied to ALDI for its Chicago stores for the past 3-4 years. Previous to the two-unit design, we supplied only the 25-ton Multi-Path ERV but with no heat reclaim.
Most notable on the unit design is the use of a CO2 heat reclaim coil. Of course it has the Multi-Path technology as well as a heat recovery wheel (ERV – energy recovery ventilation) to recover heat from the store exhaust air.
Because of stipulations in our contract with ALDI, we can’t share these photos publicly, but we can share them with you. Check out the awesome drone shots showing the rooftop.
